About Natalie
Hi, I’m Natalie.
I'm a registered counsellor and psychotherapist (MA, MBACP), a StopSO Counsellor, group facilitator, and trainer. I specialise in sex and porn addiction, compulsive sexual behaviour disorder (CSBD), and emotional well-being. My work is grounded in evidence-based theory, and I am passionate about helping people find freedom from the loneliness of repetitive behaviours and shame, helping them build healthier, more fulfilling lives.
for adults (18+) in Berkshire, Wokingham, and the surrounding areas, as well as online from anywhere in the UK. While I specialise in sex and porn addiction and compulsive sexual behaviour disorder (CSBD), I also offer counselling for a range of emotional and psychological challenges, including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, stress, and relationship difficulties. Whether you are struggling with compulsive sexual behaviours, unwanted habits, or emotional distress, I provide both one-to-one and group therapy in a safe and confidential space.
Do you find yourself struggling with compulsive sexual behaviours or pornography use, even when you've tried to stop? Maybe you are questioning whether your behaviour is a problem, or you have been confronted by a loved one or even the authorities. If your actions are affecting your relationships, work, or self-esteem, know that you are not alone.
I offer a structured, compassionate, evidence-based,
approach to help you explore your behaviours, gain insight, break unhealthy patterns, and move forward with confidence. Addictions can feel overwhelming, but with the right support, freedom is possible.
If you are wondering whether your behaviour is a problem, we begin by exploring your history. When did this behaviour start? How does it help you cope? What impact is it having on your life? Using a screening tool, we can gain a clearer picture of your struggles in an objective and non-judgemental way.
Many people feel trapped by shame and guilt, which can make it harder to seek help. Together, we can explore the neuroscience of addiction — how our brains work, the role of dopamine and neural pathways, and how addictive behaviours form and are maintained. When you understand what is happening, it becomes easier to break free.
Once we have identified triggers, we can develop a clear, structured recovery plan. This includes practical strategies to manage cravings and triggers, relapse prevention techniques to help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself and your behaviours, and a focus on long-term recovery, not just short-term solutions.
